Following the advice of his friend, a traveler stays in an unusual house.
Characters with strange habits live there: "Sir," the Master of the house who loves to listen to scratched discs on the old gramophone, "Madam," his wife, a dry lady would live in luxury, and their son, a very good musician but impulsive and very nervous, married to "The Governess", so called because it's fashionable to be a governess in the aristocratic and "The Girl", the nicest person living in the house.
The Housekeeper's Daughter and "The Governess" see their ghosts evolue in the garden...
